On Friday night bands from All Star Rock Schools senior sessions took to the stage at Colchester Arts Centre. Opening the show at the annual Rock Prom, bands from our Colchester and Ipswich schools set the tone for a fantastic night celebrating local young talent.

Colchester Art Centre is an iconic music venue and the Rock Prom is a highlight in our gig calendar. This year ‘Supernova’, the band from Ipswich played classics like Come Together by The Beatles and It’s My Life from Bon Jovi, they opened the show before handing over to ‘Burning Stars’ from Colchester. They smashed Detroit Rock City by Kiss and You Could Be Mine by Guns n Roses. The line up at the Rock Prom also included rock bands from local schools and colleges, all of these amazing performances were a treat for the standing-room-only crowd and our students left buzzing from the experience.
