We would like to thank Martin Leatherdale and the team at Lion Walk Shopping Centre, Colchester, for all of their support in putting together the All Star Rock School ‘Rock Up Shop!’  Saturday 22nd February 2020.

The event was a great success.  We had 50 students aged between 6 to 18  from our Colchester, Ipswich and Chelmsford Rock Schools braving the weather to put on a 6-hour show. For many students, it was their time performing in public.  We’re also grateful for being given access to an empty retail unit so we could support the community and encourage passing children (and some adults!) to pick up an instrument and learn a riff, a drum fill or a song, spending time with our brilliant tutors.

The day was a fantastic opportunity for our students to perform with plenty of support and encouragement from the passing public. We’re looking forward to the next one!
